One man’s adventure into the World of OMAP

It begun yesterday when I laid my hands on a OMAP5912 OSK. The board was dead, just spitting out some dots through the serial port when turned on. My first quest was to resurrect it by flashing a new u-boot. This was done with Windows and a serial cable as there was no USB A-to-A cable available. Unfortunately I could not find a GNU/Linux application to do it via /dev/ttyS0. A TI application was used as instructed here. Now after setting up tftp the board is booting fine. Thanks for the help of Keppler and Anderson.
